The Farm

The Farm – A recreation place that locate in between Semenyih and Broga if not mistaken. I can’t get more info from that place due to private area besides I am went there with other purpose. I follow ahkwong car by 5am in the morning and reach there by 6am.

我相信有人会问我是否题目打错了字，尤其是后面那个“园”应该是“源”。其实这个地方的英文名取为The Farm，是果园又是花园并且有人造池塘和美丽的小风景所以还是叫世外桃园比较贴切（我个人认为）。关于这个地方，它是属于私人的地方。除了资料也不祥之外，更有其他的目的。我更阿kwong在五点早上就起程了到达目的地是大概是六点，在路途中我都是睡着的觉所以经过什么地方都不清楚却只知道是位于semenyih和broga之间。

或许我在住在城市太久了，在这里我感觉自己蛮山岜的。哈哈！！

Bird Park Photography

Last Sunday I came to this Bird park photo shooting with Eugene and Ahkwong. It is a popular tourist attraction in the country, receiving an average of 200,000 visitors every year. It is located adjacent to the Perdana Lake Gardens of Kuala Lumpur. This Bird Park houses more than 5000 birds, from more than 50 species, in an enclosed aviary. Out of these 5000 birds, 90% are local birds and 10% were imported from overseas.

I know that many people have been arrive to this for photo shooting and would be quite boring so I just simply pick a few photos post it here.

Sunset view of Ampangan water dam

After some research for the Ciling falls during Kuala Khubu Baru we decided to head back to Kuala Lumpur. Along the way we saw signboards that direct us to Rawang and Batucaves. I have read through other side which state that the path to Batucaves will be faster reach back to Kuala Lumpur so we get a risk to try it on.

Along the way was so beautiful of nature and thanks god for the superb weather that day. The green environment really make me refreshing and we explore some recreation park at that Ulu Yam path and I think we will came back to explore next time.

After half an hour of journey we discover another dam here which was the Ampangan water dam. It was about to sunset and the beautiful cloud reflect on the water surface have make the scenery so magnificent. We quickly park the car at the roadside and make some time shooting there.

The random pictures of Ampangan water dam, I have play with some white balance so the color scheme might look different.

Kanching falls part 2 : Malaysia waterfalls

Continuese for the second part of Kanching fall. We pass over the 4th fall to the 5th falls due to the ground was too vertical and have to climb up steep slopes. Besides, trekking and scrambling are require but so far was easy because at right hand side of the waterfall got trail there.

During the process we took some rest and snap anything around us. I took off my shoes and place my foot to the water, the feeling was so good. The slipper was below picture was belong to Anston.

Crystal clear and clean water.

I shot this on ISO 400, F 4 and 1/1000 shutter. The rushing water is just like splashing pearls in front of me.

After some rest we continue to walk towards to reach the 5th waterfall. It look so grand and beware of ur camera becouse very easy get wet due to splashing water. It was more beautiful then the previous falls.

By the way, while Anston suggest to stop here. Since we have come from so far I push myself to the 6th floor but as a notice there was a broken part in between so you guys must becareful.

Anyhow is was worth to climb up here. The fall from here was about 6 to eight storey tall and most vertical one. So dramatic can..

Mission accomplished for the kanching falls. The next trip might aiming for chiling waterfalls.

Visit Bukit Cerakah (Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam)

It been many years haven’t step on this place while I was still study at secondary school period. Yesterday we visit here for photography purpose and the progress included Hiew, hungwei, Eri, Eugene, Joshuaand Leepeng. The weather was nice yesterday and it really suitable for landscape photography. This Bukit Cerakah (Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam)was located at Shah Alam.

Special thankz to Joshua for fetching us to Bukit Cerakah (Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam) and Hiew for the towel. It was a very exhausted and tiring outing this time as the distance in between for every session was quite far. As a result, we have to rent a bike for transportation. By the way, I am facing problems on cycling as I didn’t play it for more then 10 years and my balancing was quite bad. Besides, it was so tiring while cycling up hills so I give up on some spot and carry up bike to the hills. It was so bad that I was left behind always, I wonder so good I have a light body.

Due to the place was so big and we only can go for a few places there. Here we spot the Taman Haiwan(Animals park), Taman Cendawan(Mushroom park), The pond and The weather house. Unfortunely the weather house was still under progress.

Tekala Waterfall photo session

Oh yeah, this was a very suprise vacation while we went further from the edge to kajang for looking a tune we discover another protected forest here and this place got waterfall as well. Check it from the internet the waterfall name as Tekala fall or Tekala waterfall. Since that the time was still early so we enter just for RM 1 per entry.

The environment was superb and easy for trekking, besides it was so clean and refreshing. Combare to Gabai waterfall which was near there I think I have to climb for many stair to reach upthere. We thinking to come here again as we didn’t bring any clothing for playing water here. As what we said we come here just for shooting but I was so jeolous seeing people playing around there.

As you can see the water was not as rapid as Gabai waterfall and it was single flow and few cascade here.

Semenyih Water Dam Photo Session

Last Sunday we went to Semenyih water dam for photo shooting. I woke up by 6 am at the morning with totaly blurness and pack up everything for shooting preparation. Me, Eugene and Aaron met up at my place by 630 morning. We finish our breakfast and start our journey. Semenyih water dam is near Ulu langat which was not too far from Kuala Lumpur.

It took us less then 45 minutes to reach there. Along the road was surrond by fog and feeling cool like Genting highland. This was my first time to get here so early, It give me a different feeling for the environment compare to the previous one as it just hard to describe by words and it was so beautiful.

It was a lot of fun during the photo shooting session as we get to sharing the knowledge and skill. it took us more then a hour shooting around there.

Chinese New Year Review

Oh yeah, I am back to blog again. Too much pending for the Chinese New Year happening so I try to make everything in one post and make it short.

1st Day of Chinese New Year:Going out for visiting the frens and relatives.

2nd Day of Chinese New Year:Going to Kampar and taking photograph at the side of highway relax park.

Discover big insect shell on the plant surface.

Reach Kampar and trying thier famous mee sup. *Slurp !!!, a lot of ingredient especially those fried stuff.

The second day of Chinese New Year during evening session: After dinner we went to Ipoh to visit ahkwong classmate from Appit.

The third day of Chinese New Year: Continue our journey from Ipoh to Penang.

After 2 hours we reach the Penang bridge. oh well CNY post end up here and more stuff will coming up soon.

Said Good Bye to Penang

The next day of Penang we woke up quite late and we left the hotel by 1pm then we continue to search food. According to hungwei information that usually most good food was on daytime.

We went back to the wantan mee that recommend by Mich. By the way, I also order Asam Laksa but good as the place they brought me to eat before.

Sorry for never meet any Penang bloggers at that moment coz time really limits and we have to went back to Ipoh early as the teribble Traffic Jam during Chinese New Year.

For the final location we went to Gurney drive to take some picture by afternoon time. And bad luck we kena saman due to parking at the district area….

After this we directly head back to the Feri location to get to Butterworth. At the same time we did some photography there. The weather was really hot that time.

We drive and park into the Feri, this was my 1st time to have a ride on Feri…so paiseh man. after we park our car we came out to relax and walk around.

Kek Lok Si Night view during Chinese New Year

During the 3rd day of Chinese New Year, we travel around 3 hours from Kampar to Penang. The traffics at Penang bridge was so terrible during that afternoon. Anyhow we still make it on 5 30 pm at the afternoon so we met hungwei at one of the Macdonald near Air Hitam.

After some rest, Hungwei lead us to the Sunway hotel which near Kamdar at the same time really thankz for him to help us out for the booking and seeking hotel rooms to stay overnight. I wonder why so many people coming back to penang…lolz coz the rooms were limited and hard to find. After some rest, hungwei lead me and Ahkwong to Kek lok si as our main purpose to come to penang.

Crowd and terrible jam along the road and pedestrian to Kek Lok Si temple. Many people come here to eat, pray, playing and shooting. Once we reach there we just woaw!!! so nice see from far as you can see beatiful lights and numbers of colorful lantherns hanging around the Kek Lok Si temple.

Hung wei and ~~Eugene~~ Ahkwong. I remember he told me that this was the fourth time he came here.

After finishing walking everywhere we decide to visit the upper part of the Kek Lok Si so we can snap the night view of Penang and the giant Guang Ying Statue. It was unlucky that day coz many people quening for the skyway and heard it was not worth to paid it so we walk up. After reaching the top I understand why so many people want to quene for the skyway as the road was 45 degree up hill and yet we have to walk a distance to reach top…It just make me so sweaty and exhausted. At the same time cars were all quening and jaming there, the smoke and smell of the tyres really make me sick.

Anyhow Penang night view was so beautiful. And my post end up here ^_^
